Attention all fashion lovers, your prayers have been answered! Esteemed stylist Law Roach has announced the release of his first book, offering readers a glimpse into his journey to superstardom.
On Friday, Law shared on Instagram that his new book, titled *How to Build a Fashion Icon: Notes on Confidence from the World’s Only Image Architect*, will highlight the pivotal moments of his career.
“Dear Tribe…. I wrote a little book for US! I really need your support. It’s the first thing that I’m doing outside of being a stylist. Please, please go to Amazon and pre-order it. Link in my bio 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” Law captioned his post.
The 45-year-old stylist is renowned for his collaborations with Celine Dion, Megan Thee Stallion, and his longtime friend Zendaya. Over the years, Law has built a name for himself in the fashion industry by consistently creating memorable looks. What sets him apart is his ability to blend a client’s personality with specific styles and fabrics.
One unforgettable example of his skill is Zendaya’s appearance at the 2019 Met Gala. The event’s theme was “Camp,” inspired by Susan Sontag’s influential 1964 essay, “Notes on ‘Camp’.” Sontag described “camp” as a style marked by a humorous hint of bad taste, extravagance, and theatricality. Zendaya stunned attendees in a black and blue corseted Tommy Hilfiger ballgown, with white puffy sleeves and a full A-line skirt, channeling her inner princess. She was accompanied by Law, who acted as her fairy godmother, waving a smoky wand during her dramatic entrance.
Law’s rise to becoming a household name in fashion is filled with distinctive moments, each contributing to his success. His story is marked by passion, dedication, and the transformative power of fashion. From his viral fashion moments with high-profile clients to his consistent creativity, Law has definitely left an indelible mark on the fashion world.
