Hundreds of lawsuits against Travis Scott and Live Nation over the Astroworld tragedy have been combined into one big case.

A Texas court panel ruled that nearly 400 suits filed by victims and organizers would be handled by one single judge instead of individually. Billboard reports that the case would represent around 2,800 people.

The lawsuit claims that Scott and Live Nation were negligent in the planning and operation of the event, where 10 attendees died and hundreds more injured. They are seeking $3 billion in damages.

Combining the lawsuits into one case was agreed upon by both sides. The judge who will oversee the case has not been named. The victims and the organizers indicated that they would prefer Judge Lauren Reeder in their filings.

According to the outlet, the number of cases is a rough estimate as there could be more cases added on or some that drop off as the case moves forward. The larger case would account for each of these scenarios.

“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” Scott said following the tragedy. “My prayers go out to the families and all of those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.

In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Scott said he was unaware that any problems were happening in the crowd. He denied hearing any of the attendees scream for help during the crowd surge.

“It’s 50,000 people … you got lights, you got sound, you got [pyrotechnics], you got your in-ears, you got the band, there’s all types of stuff going on,” he said. “Everything kind of just sounds the same. At the end of the day, you just hear music.”
