Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents more than 120 individuals accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of wrongdoing, is now at the center of his own legal battle. A woman identified as Jane Doe has filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging that he assaulted her and mishandled her divorce case, costing her millions of dollars.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged assault occurred several years ago while Buzbee was representing the woman in her divorce. While specifics of the incident are not detailed in the court documents, a source close to Jane Doe claims the attorney “flew into a fit of rage” in a public setting, pushing a champagne flute into her face and chipping her tooth.
Jane Doe alleges she has medical and dental records to substantiate her injuries, which she says resulted from the encounter.
In addition to the assault allegations, Jane Doe accuses Buzbee of legal malpractice. She claims his mishandling of her divorce case led to significant financial losses, costing her millions.
Jeremy Bohrer, Jane Doe’s attorney, criticized Buzbee in a statement to TMZ: “Tony Buzbee is a hypocrite. There is nothing worse than when a black hat masquerades as a white hat.”
Buzbee, however, has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “crazy fiction.” In a statement to TMZ, he suggested ulterior motives might be at play, hinting at possible connections between Jane Doe’s case and other lawsuits.
“We won’t be bullied or silenced by frivolous cases being filed against me or against my clients. All of this is false, and I won’t tolerate defamation,” Buzbee said.
Buzbee’s legal troubles come amid his representation of over 120 alleged victims in high-profile cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs. These lawsuits have already garnered significant public attention, and the accusations against Buzbee could raise questions about his role as a prominent attorney in these matters.
As this case develops, both sides are preparing for what could be a contentious legal battle. For now, Buzbee remains steadfast in his denial of all allegations.
