Lay’s is reintroducing its original Flamin’ Hot chips, thanks to a petition from fans.
Last year, Frito-Lay modified the flavor’s formula, which angered fans who said the chips had a “spiced lime” flavor.
Fans organized a petition demanding that Lay’s bring back its classic Flamin’ Hot chips. After receiving more than 23,000 signatures, Lay’s has decided to re-release the OG flavor for its ardent fans.
Everyone who signed the petition received a personal apology from Lays, as well as a coupon for the original Flamin’ Hot chips, which are now available nationwide.
