How sweet is this! 4-year-old Leah Still has warmed all of our hearts this past year with the perseverance and strength she’s shown throughout her battle with pediatric cancer. Now she has teamed up with her dad, Bengals’ Devon Still, to write a children’s book for kids everywhere who are going through the same thing. The book is titled “I Am Leah Strong” and will depict her life and talk about her trials and tribulations. Devon credits the entire book to his daughter, saying that all the words in it came from her and he just helped to put it all together. The father-daughter duo hopes that this book will help other kids who are battling cancer and give them the courage and motivation to deal with such a serious issue.

On his Instagram page, Devon talked about how the idea for the book came about: “After having numerous families contact me for advice on how to deal with fighting pediatric cancer and seeing the amount of kids that follow Leah’s story, Leah and I decided to write a children’s book that talks about Leah’s fight to help kids that are fighting the disease now or for kids who unfortunately will get diagnosed in the future deal with the changes that will come in their life.”

The book will be released sometime in February and part of the proceeds will be donated to pediatric cancer research.

At such a young age, Leah continues to be a huge inspiration to people everywhere, both young and old. I love how she maintains such a positive attitude and is constantly full of life despite all of the suffering she has endured. She is truly a special little girl. Prayers up for Leah as she continues her fight.
