Things got heated on the court Sunday night at the Pistons vs Lakers game.
As LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart both went up to rebound, LeBron elbowed Stewart as the Pistons player clingged on to him in a scuffle. Stewart is then seen with a bloody face, plunging towards James after officials and others try to calm him down.
Employees, coaches, and teammates all step in to break up the heated incidient but all Stewart does is trample through people while several people are seen falling to the ground. He even agrees to calm down then does a 360 and tries to fight LeBron. However, he was stopped by players and security guards.
Both players were later ejected.
Sources say following the game, Lebron tried to get Stewart’s number to let him know the hit wasn’t on purpose.
“I’m told LeBron James did try to track down Isaiah Stewart’s number postgame to apologize to Stewart again and let him know it was an inadvertent hit,” NBA Reporter Shams Charania said on the Pat McAfee Show.
