LeBron James is back in the game! After testing negative to COVID eight times, LeBron will be able to play in the game tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Earlier this week, the NBA released a statement that LeBron had tested positive for COVID. The league said, “In accordance with the Protocols, and the consistent testing practice that has been in place since the 2019-20 Season Restart in Orlando, the sample that produced the initial positive test was re-run twice and returned one negative and one positive result on two different PCR instruments.”

The league continued, “As a result, James underwent additional testing on November 30, with one test returning a negative result and a second test resulting in a clinically inconclusive result.”

He missed the game Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings. However, this isn’t the first game he’s missed of the season. According to People, LeBron has missed 10 games due to injuries and another one due to his first suspension. His first suspension was the aftermath of the heated blowout between Isaiah Stewart.

LeBron has been vaccinated and boosted, several tests have come back positive. Now, the NBA is reporting that he has passed all NBA health and safety protocols after a false positive. Even LeBron suspected something “fishy” was going on.

The four-time champ never had COVID. Shams Charania, NBA Analyst, posted the NBA’s statement to LeBron’s false positive.
