Just two months after Lee Daniels and Dame Dash settled their beef over an unpaid $5 million loan, the “Empire” co-creator has filed new legal documents against Dash, the mogul’s ex-wife and baby mama over the same payment.
In court documents obtained by the Blast, Daniels said he settled the dispute with Dash in November of last year, but since then, both Dash’s ex-wife, Rachel Roy, and his baby mama, Cindy Morales, have tried to claim ownership over the money. In fact, Daniels said both Roy and Morales have served him with subpoenas to find out how much he agreed to pay Dash, in an attempt to secure their own debts owed by Dash.
As a result, Daniels is asking a court to sort out the entire situation because he has no idea who to pay. The problem is, his next payment is due April 5, so he needs the situation figured out as soon as possible.
In the meantime, according to the publication, Dash reportedly owes $850,000 in back child support to Roy, which includes money owed from their divorce. For Morales, she says she’s owed around $65,000 in back support.
