Letitia Wright reportedly suffered minor injuries while filming scenes for Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
The 27-year-old actress who is reprising her role as “Shuri” in the franchise was hospitalized after a stunt rig incident.
Wright was working during an overnight shoot in Boston when the incident occurred.
“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” Marvel said in a statement.
Producers do not expect the accident to impact the film’s production schedule.
