Beyoncé has joined a growing list of famous women who are stepping into the liquor industry.
Earlier this week, she unveiled her Sir Davis whiskey brand. She has quietly been testing the liquor in numerous spirits competitions, including at the SIP Awards. Her company secured the Best In Class for American Whiskey award, a sign that she has developed a stellar product. Right now, bottles of Sir Davis are only available for order on the official website, priced at $89.99 for a 750ml bottle. Bey also introduced several signature cocktails, including the Texas Buckin’, SirDavis Sour, and The Houston.
This latest innovation is expanding the Bey empire as well as the women’s imprint in wine and spirits. Another singer and songwriter who has dived into this lane is Jennifer Lopez. In collaboration with world-renowned bartender Lynnette Marrero, the “Get Right” performer launched her Delola brand. They offer several options, including the Light Margarita, Paloma Rosa, Bella Berry, and La Orange Spritz. These pre-mixed cocktails are also ready for order on the official Delola website and select stores.
Country sensation Dolly Parton recently entered the wine market with her new Dolly Wines. The “Jolene” star offers a Rosé, Prosecco, and Chardonnay. The bottles are not available for customer shipping, though they are for sale at retail locations across the United States. The United Kingdom will soon receive shipments of this famous spirit.
Model Kendall Jenner announced her tequila brand, 818, in 2021. Like Bey and Sir Davis, Jenner won several awards during her company’s test phase. The Ultimate Spirits Challenge competition voted 818 “the greatest tasting tequila of 2020.” Many of the signature cocktails include the Espresso Martini, Italian Orange Spritz, and the Negroni.
These women have demonstrated their adaptability in the corporate world and their ability to rule the entertainment industry. Additionally, they’ve provided perfect products for the next turn-up or game night in.
