Everyone wants to be able to find someone they connect with on a magical level: a soulmate. The idea of finding one seems dubious, but they come around at the most unexpected times. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Upon meeting a soulmate, it seems like you’ve known them forever. They are the kinds of people you connect with instinctively and intellectually, and there are hardly words to describe this person. The bond is deeper than sex or a relationship, but if it does come to that, the connection is wildly electrifying and special. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A soulmate is also someone you have a natural affinity for and somebody you just get; you can communicate with them without words. They are the people who truly connect with your soul and change your lives forever. If you’ve found one, you know you’ll never be the same person you were before you met them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the contrary, those who don’t believe in soulmates argue that people who wait around for soulmates are rejecting partners that may be compatible. They also argue that the delusion of having a soul partner can lead to unhealthy attachments, loneliness or feelings of dissatisfaction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No one can say whether or not you’ll ever meet “the one.” But while you’re waiting on your kindred flame to arrive, work on yourself, determine what you’re looking for in a partner, and pay attention. You never know when they’ll show up. ⠀
Do you think soulmates exist?
