Lil Baby found himself behind bars in Las Vegas on Monday night after being arrested for allegedly carrying an illegal weapon. The rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was taken into custody for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit—a felony charge. He was subsequently booked into the Clark County Detention Center, with bail set at $5,000.
According to his attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, Lil Baby holds a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. They clarified the situation, stating, “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
