Rapper Lil Durk had to end a show early because police responded to the venue after receiving reports of an active shooter.
But the gotcha is, there wasn’t an active shooter.
Near the end of the show, which was at the United Center in Chicago Saturday night, the crowd started to run for the exits, TMZ reported.
Authorities responded looking for the suspect but determined there wasn’t one. It was all a false alarm.
The whole incident caused some vendors selling merchandise to lose some. Some concertgoers snatched some items on the way because those working the stands ran off with the crowd.
Lil Durk commented after the show and shouted them out. “Don’t believe the hype we bigger then big thank you Chicago 🐐 till next time and who all stole the merchandise tag me so I can repost y’all crazy a** ❤️🩹”
There were no injuries reported and no arrests were made.
