Drill rap veteran THF Bayzoo was allegedly shot and killed in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood over the weekend. Reports state that Bayzoo was in a parking lot with two others when two armed individuals approached and opened fire.
While Lil Durk remains behind bars awaiting trial on murder‑for‑hire charges, the loss of his longtime affiliate adds a grim chapter for their collective. Durk was arrested in 2024 for allegedly orchestrating a 2022 attack on rival Quando Rondo, in which a cousin of Rondo died. Durk has denied all allegations, and his trial is scheduled for January 6, 2026.
In the wake of Bayzoo’s death, 21 Savage paid tribute via his Instagram story, posting photos of Bayzoo and captioning one of them: “Dam thug” with broken‑heart emojis.
At this time, police have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting, which remains under investigation.
