Three weeks after Lil Durk turned himself in on five felony charges in connection to an Atlanta shooting, a judge has offered him the opportunity to be released with a $250,000 bond.Â
Back in May, the rapper turned himself into police on charges of criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm and more, over a Feb. 5 shooting that took place outside an Atlanta restaurant.Â
In the incident after responding to reports of gunfire, officials said they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg and 13 shell casings from a rifle, a pistol, and another firearm. After further investigation, witnesses said the victim appeared to have gotten into a verbal dispute with another man before he was shot.Â
Two weeks after the rapper’s arrest, officials detailed Durk’s role in the incident, which was reportedly caught on camera and as a result, a judge found probable cause for the rapper to be formally charged in the crime.Â
However, now, in the wake of last week’s hearing, a judge has granted the rapper’s release under specific conditions. According to WSB-TV, Durk will have to wear an ankle monitor, and he will be required to remain in the house from 11 pm to 7 am. In addition, he can not be anywhere near guns and witness intimidation is strictly prohibited.
