Lil Durk is ready to settle down with longtime girlfriend, India Royale. The rapper popped the question at the WGCI Jam in Chicago.
In the middle of his performance, Durk invited India onstage. Durk then got down on one knee and asked the crowd for silence while he said a few words to India.
“You know I love you to death. You’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot. You’re the realest and I just love you to death. Would you want to be my wife?”
India, smiling from ear to ear, excitedly answered yes while friends and family embraced the two.
Durk and India’s relationship started back in 2017 and birthed their first child, Willow Banks, in 2018. It’s nice to see the two Chicago natives become a union after all they have been through. In July, the couple was victims of a home invasion and aggravated assault. Nonetheless, congratulations to Durk and India!
