Lil Durk Recalls An Embarrassing Situation Where He Tried To Impress His Girlfriend, India Royale, With A Rolls-Royce [Video]

Lil Durk recalls an awkward incident featuring a Rolls-Royce, his partner India Royale, and a mysteriously absent lock button.

Durk made a recent appearance on Nick Cannon’s Big Drive show, where he shared the story of inadvertently locking himself inside the luxury car while attempting to arrange a romantic moment with his longtime girlfriend.

“We in the Cullinan, I popped out for my girl, my wife. I’m like, ‘Okay, shut the door time,’” the Chicago rapper said. “So I leaned over to grab the door, but it locked. She [India] come knock on the window … I’m like, ‘I don’t even know how to unlock the door!’ I’m trying to find it. I’m like, ‘Aww sh*t!’ I played it off while trying to look for the button. I couldn’t find that button!”

Durk elaborated on the situation, revealing that he had to seek assistance from others to help get himself out of the predicament.

“Before I let her in, I had to make some phone calls. ‘Cause this is the new one,” Durk continued. “Whole time I’m lying [to India]. This is the new one; they switched up the button.”

Even though Durk referred to India as his “wife,” it’s worth noting that just a year ago, she hinted that she did not share the same feelings. Last year, Durk posted a sweet Valentine’s Day message to India, stating, “Happy Valentine’s Day to the woman that made me a man. I love you @indiaroyale.”

However, shortly thereafter, India seemingly responded to Durk’s post through a series of posts on X, expressing her displeasure with the situation.

“People really do not respect boundaries at all,” she wrote. “I try my best to be respectful and not put on a show but people don’t respect my choices. Let it go.”
