Despite all of his success in the music industry, rapper Lil Durk wants to challenge himself even more by going back to academia to get his high school diploma.
On Thursday, the soon-to-be 29-year-old rapper tweeted: “I’m going to get my high school diploma I want to challenge myself on my goals and real life situations.”
The announcement adds to the list of the Chicago rapper’s accomplishments. He was recently featured in a new Beats campaign that introduced a fresh A-Cold-Wall collaboration. Durk dons a set of headphones and opens up about his connection to his hometown of Chicago, Complex reported.
Durk isn’t the only rapper who wanted to go back to school. Last year, Migos rapper Quavo did the same thing and posted his graduation pictures on his Instagram page.
“Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of 2020. We Lit 🔥 Now What College Should I Go To? 🧐 And To Celebrate We Gonna Drop SMASH TONIGHT 🔥🌊 BERKMAR HIGH NAWFSIDE BABY,” the rapper captioned the post.
Female artist Coi Leray did the same when she went back to get her honorary diploma at her New Jersey high school.
It’s never too late.
