A startling incident unfolded in Los Angeles early Thursday morning when Lil Nas X was seen walking down a major street nearly unclothed, a spectacle that culminated in his hospitalization.
TMZ broke the news that the “Old Town Road” rapper was captured on video “nearly naked, and floating aimlessly down Ventura Blvd at 4 AM.” In the footage, he “repeatedly pointed at the camera and muttered something about heading to a party,” and at one point, “he placed an orange traffic cone on his head.”
According to sources, individuals in the Studio City area observed his erratic behavior and deemed it concerning enough to notify police. Multiple witnesses reported seeing “a nude man walking in the road.” Upon arrival, officers found him still in the street, and after Lil Nas X “charged at officers…they subdued him and put him in handcuffs.”
Law enforcement informed paramedics that there was a “possible overdose,” leading to his transport to a hospital.
At this time, no charges have been filed, though he could still face some. He reportedly remains in the hospital.
The rapper’s representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
