The rapper, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, was arrested in July in Los Angeles after a woman accused him of trying to sexually assault her. According to the accuser, the pair went on a date and returned to his hotel room. While inside, she claims Reese tried to make her sleep with him. When the woman refused, she alleges that the “Us” performer forced himself onto her despite her repeatedly telling him no. Shortly after the encounter, the woman called the police from the lobby, and Reese was arrested shortly after and charged with suspicion of sexual assault and rape. He was released on a $100,000 bond and immediately denied the incident took place.
Reese took to Instagram again and showed some of his court documents. He also wrote that the accuser tried to steal money from him before she made the false claim. The woman has not spoken out publicly, and it’s not immediately clear why the charges were dropped.
