Juvenile recently announced to the world that all the members of Hot Boys would be linking up for a reunion, but it seems Lil Wayne didn’t get the memo.
The group is allegedly putting out their first album in over two decades.
However, during a recent “Not Just Football” podcast appearance, Wayne insisted that he had no clue.
Around the 18:44 minute mark, Wayne said, “Shit, you just told me!” when asked about the Hot Boys reuniting.
“That’s what he [Juvenile] said? I ain’t been to the kitchen yet. I would not lie to you, I have not been in that kitchen yet,” Wayne said. “I have no problem with going to that kitchen, but I ain’t smell it, it ain’t come through the window yet. I ain’t smell the food … They ain’t told me nothing yet.”
So, it looks like Wayne is all for a Hot Boyz reunion, But, the bad news is we might be waiting longer than expected for that album since Wayne hasn’t been in the studio.
