Lil Wayne’s ex-assistant accuses him of assault and battery after being punched in the jaw during a private jet fight.
Andrew Williams is suing Wayne, Young Money Entertainment, and Signature Flight Support for an incident that occurred on June 10th. According to court documents, Williams booked Wayne a private jet, and that’s when all hell broke loose.
Once the crew was onboard, Wayne allegedly got into an argument with the pilot. Williams felt the need to intervene, which wasn’t okay with the rapper. Wayne turned to confront Williams and allegedly struck him in the face.
“The combination of a closed fist and the numerous rings and large jewelry on the hands of [Wayne] caused great harm to [Williams],” the court docs say.
After the incident, Williams says he exited the aircraft and sought out medical attention for his injuries. Williams states that he’s suffering from physical and emotional damages and “incurred general damages including incurring medical expenses in amounts to be proven at trial.”
He also claims the only communication he received from the artist was a letter demanding he returns a missing Bluetooth speaker and company backpack.
“Lil Wayne was willful and malicious and was intended to oppress and cause injury to [Williams]. [Williams] is therefore entitled to an award of punitive damages,” the document continues.
Williams is accusing the defendants of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, wrongful termination, and negligence.
