Lil Yachty Welcomes Kodak Black Home With $50,000

Lil Yachty welcomed friend Kodak Black home from prison by gifting him with $50,000 in cash.

Kodak has been home for a few days after former President Donald Trump commuted his sentence during his final days in office. Since his release, Kodak appeared at several hostings during Super Bowl weekend in Tampa.

At some point, he got up with QC star Lil Yachty, who shared the encounter on his Instagram account Tuesday with the caption, “welcome home.” Yachty is heard in the clip saying, “I got something for you,” before handing Kodak the money. “That’s that welcome home gift. A good 50-piece for him.” After receiving the generous gift, the 23-year-old “Roll In Peace” star embraced Yachty.

Kodak has been paying it forward since his release from prison. Over the weekend, he pledged to pay the college tuition for the children of the two FBI agents who were recently killed in south Florida while executing a search warrant.
