Lisa Marie Presley Signs A Book Deal, Plans To Reveal “Shocking” Details About Her Ex Michael Jackson And Offer A New Perspective On Her Father, Elvis Presley

The daughter of music royalty, who was also once married to music royalty, is opening up about the famous men in a new book. 

Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of rock legend Elvis Presley and the ex-wife of the Michael Jackson, has just inked a blockbuster book deal with plans to reveal “shocking” details about her ex and offer new perspectives of her father.

A source told Fox News that the Lisa Marie book is such a bombshell, she has sold it to Gallery Books for between $3 million and $4 million.

Lisa Marie was married to the King of Pop from 1994 to 1996 after the pair secretly wed in a private ceremony before unveiling their relationship publicly on MTV. The two split just two years later.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Presley, who has been notoriously quiet about her relationships with both Icons, will open up in the new book, just as the controversy surrounding  HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary and its subsequent backlash against MJ has started dying down. The book also comes as a number of high profile projects about her father prepare for a 2020 release. 

According to Page Six, in 2010, she offered a somewhat cryptic account of how the marriage to Jackson ended in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying, “There was a very profound point in the marriage when he had to make a decision. Was it the drugs and the sort of vampires, or me? And he pushed me away.” She added that by “vampires” she meant “sycophants.”

She also told Oprah, “The one thing that correlates with Michael and with my father on this subject is that they had the luxury of creating whatever reality around them they wanted to create.”

However, she denied allegations of Jackson’s inappropriate relationships with children in a 1995 interview with Diane Sawyer, saying, “I know that he’s not like that,” according to the publication.

The allegations have returned with the release of HBO’s “Leaving Neverland,” and Jackson’s estate has sued over the doc. While their marriage was covered in the film, Presley hasn’t commented on any of the resurfacing allegations since the documentary was released.
