Little Mermaid Projected To Reach $120-$130M In Box Office Tickets By Monday

There was a lot of controversy about Disney’s latest live-action adaptation film Little Mermaid before it came out due to its featured star Halle Bailey. But box office reports show it’s doing well in theaters.

The film hit theaters Memorial Day weekend, and so far, it’s swimming to the top and is projected to land on a record-setting box office haul, with an estimated $120 mil-$130 mil to its name by Monday,

Disney is placing their bets closer to $125 million , which is domestic. Overseas, the movie is said to likely draw an additional $80 million , which could make the film reach $200 million in time, TMZ reported.

The movie reportedly had a budget of about $250 million.

‘Mermaid’ is on track to overtake”Aladdin,” the film that achieved a billion in 2019. If it stays at this pace, ‘TLM’ should sit fourth behind “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

Go, Halle, Go!
