Police arrested a man who is connected to the murders of two women. The suspect was allegedly seen in a Facebook Livestream.
On Saturday, police officers reported to Rocky Hill Veterans Apartments at 12:42 a.m. following a woman’s concern over what she saw in a Livestream. The Los Angeles Times reports the woman saw an armed person inside an apartment with two bodies on the floor.
“The video showed the man carrying a handgun and two women lying on the floor — not moving,” the department said in a Facebook post. When officers arrived, they ended up having to call a SWAT team and negotiators after finding the man barricaded inside the apartment, police said. The man refused to exit his location, so the police decided to evacuate the entire building.
The Los Angeles Times reports cops entered the apartment using “distraction devices and chemical agents.” Officers used a Taser on the man after a slight struggle. The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Raymond Michael Weber, who is from Sacramento, Calif. Police booked the man into Solano County Jail.
“Officers additionally found two women deceased inside of the apartment. The cause of their death remains under investigation, and their identities are being withheld pending next-of-kin notifications,” the department said.
He is currently being held without bail on suspicion of murder. According to Solano County’s online records, he is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
