After documenting her weight loss online for months, Lizzo has announced her biggest achievement in her journey.
“I did it,” the 36-year-old singer shared on Instagram. “Today, when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal.”
The Grammy-winning performer celebrated her milestone with a mirror selfie in a maroon sports bra and leggings, captioned with a bold affirmation: “I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”
Lizzo also posted a close-up photo displaying her progress. A graphic outlined her 10.5-point BMI reduction and 16% decrease in body fat since January 2024, further emphasizing her dedication to fitness and nutrition.
On TikTok, Lizzo addressed personal challenges, saying, “Even at the end of my weight loss journey, I’m not going to be considered thin. Little bros on the internet will still call me ‘big backed.’ But I will be happy—and I am happy!”
Despite rumors, Lizzo firmly denied using Ozempic, crediting her transformation to “5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.” She even playfully referenced the speculation with an Ozempic-themed Halloween costume.
Reflecting on her gradual approach, Lizzo stated, “I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly.” Her journey reinforces a powerful message: “You can do anything—anything you set your mind to.”
Now, Lizzo’s sights are set on new goals, inspiring her fans every step of the way.
