This week, hip-hop icon LL Cool J was the topic of discussion after a thread went viral showcasing his hilarious and often chaotic music video choices. Now, the rapper is joining in and explaining the thought process behind some of his wildest concepts.
LL took to TikTok, where he posted several hilarious tweets in the thread that highlighted some of his biggest music videos’ wildest moments. The 54-year-old media personality jokingly told his fans that he was ready to “break the silence” after the thread gained immense traction online. One of the videos in question was for his hit single, “Loungin.” LL famously drips chocolate syrup on a woman’s leg at an intersection in the clip.
“Although I always felt it should have been more chocolate, maybe using a giant paintbrush or something and just really go in. That’s what I woulda did, now looking back. I should have went a little further with it, but yeah, it was unhinged,” he said in his TikTok explanation.
The original Twitter thread, which surfaced on Tuesday, March 8th, has gained over 30,000 likes and more than 5,000 retweets. Other famous LL videos included in the thread were “Doin’ It,” which found the rapper eating fruit while enjoying a peep show, “Curious,” and “Phenomenon.”
