Lonzo Ball Denies Accusations Of Hiding His Ankle Injury Despite Claims Made By Big Baller Brand Co-Founder Alan Foster

The ousted co-founder of the Big Baller Brand, Alan Foster, alleges Lonzo Ball was secretly diagnosed with torn ligaments in his ankle before being traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, however, the Pelicans and the Ball family say the claims are false.

According to TMZ, both the Balls and the Pelicans claim to have solid medical evidence proving Lonzo’s ankle is fine.

In a statement to TMZ, a New Orleans representative responds, “The team strongly debunks this and was very aware of Lonzo’s injury history and status [before we traded for him].”Ā  According to Complex, the Ball family took a more direct approach when addressing the claims. “Alan Foster has repeatedly lied, defrauded and stole from the Ball family,” family spokesperson Denise White said. “Anything he says cannot be trusted.”

Alan Foster was fired from BBB and later sued by Lonzo who claimed Foster stole more than $2 million from the NBA player. Foster denied all allegations, but according to reports, his feelings regarding the Ball family has caused him to launch a new YouTube show promising to “expose” the truth about the Balls.

In a video published Thursday, Foster claims he knows a secret about Lonzo’s health claiming, “Nobody knows that he has torn ligaments.”

The publication states Foster says Lonzo met with a specialist in Ohio earlier this year while he was still with the Lakers. During that time an MRI and X-ray confirmed ligament damage to his ankle.

“A torn ligament at the point of your ankle where your ligament is torn, it’s not gonna heal on its own. He’s applying too much pressure, he’s cutting left and right. This is a very sensitive area that has to be strong,” Foster tells.

Foster also claims Lonzo was all set to undergo surgery, but when the Lakers found out, they “freaked out” and told him to cancel the procedure as it would hurt their chances of getting Anthony Davis, Complex reports. He alleges the Lakers sent the team jet to immediately bring him back to L.A reports say.

“No team would have wanted Lonzo with an ankle injury, recovering from surgery,” Foster says in the video.

Lonzo was ultimately traded to the Pelicans and is currently participating in the Pelicans’ preseason competitions. Reports claim if the team or Ball were aware of an ankle injury it is likely New Orleans would sideline him to avoid any additional damage.
