Lori Harvey continues to have an eventful beginning to her 2020, but this time it wasn’t much of a positive vibe. Lori’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan was almost jacked at an apartment complex in Atlanta Wednesday night, but her quick thinking helped avoid injury and being without her ride.
Lori told police she was arriving back from a Whole Foods trip, and when she made her way to the trunk to grab some items, a young black male crept up and jumped in the driver’s seat of her SUV. According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Lori ran toward the suspect and struggled with him as he was sitting in her driver seat but he pushed her away.
But it is Lori’s car…so she knew she could just walk away with the key fob because the truck can’t be put in drive without it. So that’s exactly what she did, walked away nonchalantly. However, as she did, a second suspect pulled up in a getaway car, hopped out, grabbed a red duffel bag out of her trunk, and both suspects fled in their vehicle.
They may have gotten away but not with much, as the duffel bag only contained clothing. Police say Lori didn’t complain of any injuries and refused medical treatment, but they are investigating to see if any surveillance cameras from Whole Foods may have captured the suspects tailing her into the lot.
