Lori Harvey is clearing up rumors and misconceptions people have about her, including that she dated a father and son.
Lori recently sat down with Adrienne Bailon on E! News and discussed her Essence January/February cover, which highlights black love.
During the interview, Lori gave her definition of black love and even revealed a piece of advice her father, Steve Harvey, has given her regarding dating.
“Just remember that you are the prize always,” Lori says. “That’s like his golden slogan for me.”
Bailon then mentions the wild allegations that have been made against Lori and asks her what the biggest misconception is that people think about her.
“It’s so funny because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories made up about me,” Lori adds. “Like I’ve seen stories about me being like fully in love with somebody and we have this whole relationship.”
She continues. “I’ve heard I’ve dated a father and son before, absolutely not true. I’ve even heard I’m a lesbian at one point.”
The father and son rumor stems from her being photographed with Diddy and Justin. According to TMZ, Justin and Lori allegedly dated some time ago, but nothing was ever confirmed. The two were spotted together at Diddy’s Official Big Game Takeover in 2019.
That same year, Lori was seen with Diddy and photographed together on many occasions. At one point, Lori wore a Diamond ring on her finger, increasing speculations of the two being involved in a relationship.
Lori quickly shut down the claims saying, “I’m not engaged. Stop believing everything y’all read on a blog.”
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old says the allegations keep her entertained and tickled.
“I love the stories. They’re very entertaining,” Lori says. “Very entertaining but I just let it roll off my shoulders.”
