Looks like Lori Harvey’s legal troubles are going from bad to worse. The 23-year-old, who recently celebrated her birthday, is facing a year in prison for a hit and run crash back in October.
The model and rumored boo of rapper, Future, was charged with one count of resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer and one count of hit and run resulting in property damage, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office confirmed to PEOPLE. The charges stem from her arrest on October 20th after hitting a vehicle then attempting to flee the scene. Witnesses claim to have seen Harvey texting while driving minutes before the accident.
An arraignment is set for January 21st. While thankfully there were no injuries reported, Harvey still faces a year in prison if convicted of the charges against her, according to the City Attorney’s office spokesperson.
Harvey’s famous father, Steve Harvey, has yet to comment on his daughter’s legal troubles.
