Los Angeles Will Start Limited Stay-At-Home Order This Weekend

Los Angeles County and counties in California’s restricted purple tier will start a limited stay-at-home order this weekend. The curfew will be from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The curfew is expected to last one month.

In an effort to slow down the virus, this week, restaurants were ordered to reduce their outdoor dining capacity to 50 percent and close at 10 p.m. beginning on Friday.

The Los Angeles Times reported that LA county has over 5,000 COVID-19 cases. Officials say if cases average 4,000 over a period of five days or if hospitalizations reach 1,750, stricter policies will be enacted.
