An OG of Louis Vuitton watches, the Tambour watch is getting a makeover in honor of its 20th birthday.Â
The exclusive watch sold at over $3,000 and just turned 20. The watch, primarily popularized in the early 2000s, is getting a slight makeover. The original look featured a “deep, flared 41.5mm case with a brown sunray dial, yellow chronograph hands, and the brand’s name engraved to the flank,” according to Esquire.Â
The Tambour collection has evolved since, embracing the digital technical era.Â
With Bradley Cooper as the new face of the new limited-edition watch, to many more anniversaries and celebrations, the watch pays tribute to a successful legacy at Louis Vuitton.Â
Tambour Twenty Timepiece: Journey Beyond Time’s exclusive model features “a brown sun-brushed dial, along which the chronograph’s long yellow hand glides, as a nod to the thread historically used in leatherwork.”
