Louis Vuitton has played with other retail markets besides clothing and shoes, circling back to the food market.
Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton café was developed as part of the “LV Dream” experience, a free exhibit that traces the brand’s history.
The cafe itself features gourmet treats, like chocolates –taking Louis Vuitton’s logo to a whole other level.
“Once we had done that, we started to see a lot of similarities between our work in patisseries and the work of the artisans there, whether it’s a woodworker or a locksmith for the trunks,” pastry chef, Maxime Frederic said. “It’s about handcrafted workmanship, and that’s completely in line with our work as artisan pastry chefs, bakers, and chocolatiers.”
As part of LV Dream, visitors can also participate in an immersive discovery of Louis Vuitton’s artistic collaborations, both past and present.
Reservations for the LV DREAM exhibition are available via louisvuitton.com
