Here’s a little recap of last night’s LHHATL, for those of you who missed it:
Let’s start off with Althea. This girl really has been stirring the pot ever since the moment she got on the show, hasn’t she? Apparently, when Mimi went to Stevie’s house to drop of their child, she saw Althea wearing almost nothing. Of course, Mimi told Erica and Erica told Karlie, whom felt obligated as Joseline’s friend to let her know. She claims she was in no way trying to be messy. Okay, Karlie. OK. But Joseline wasn’t happy one bit when she heard the news and planned on confronting Stevie about it as soon as she saw him. No matter how hard Stevie tried to convince Joseline that he never slept with Althea, Joseline knew better. And she has big plans for Althea the next time she sees her. If Joseline gets a hold of Althea anything like she did with Stevie in that therapy session way back when, then this should be pretty interesting.
This was the episode where we finally got to see everything that went down with Benzino during the time of his trip to Boston for his mother’s funeral. For those of you who may not know, a while back, Benzino was shot while he was on the way to attend his mother’s funeral. Although some have said that’s not exactly what happened, I don’t know how true that as. What I do know is that I’m not sure about the hospital scene in last night’s episode. I don’t know what it is, but I just wasn’t feeling Althea’s emotion, or whatever that was. I really wasn’t feeling the whole scene. I just feel like the last thing a man who was just shot AND lost his mother would talk about at a time like that was whether or not his girl smashed his best friend in the past. The way Stevie was acting didn’t make it seem any more believable either. Some people turn to laughter and jokes to help them at a time like this, but I don’t know. One thing that is for sure is that Stevie wasn’t being honest when he told Benzino that he never slept with Althea. Stevie and Althea told Benzino two different stories, and I highly doubt that Althea’s was the fabricated one. But we’ll see how this unfolds in the next episode.
Tammy and Waka came to the decision that they are going to have a very small, intimate wedding; given all of the things their family had been going through (the death Waka’s brother). It’s nice to see that at least SOME of the cast members can manage to stay out of drama. I wonder how long that’ll last.
The sex tape was finally finished and Nikko brought a little sneak preview over to show Mimi. Mimi could barely even look at the video as it was playing. While she was sweating bullets, Nikko was sitting right next to her with the biggest grin on his face. If that doesn’t scream that he had arranged this all along, then I don’t know what does.
Scrappy decides that he wants to try to win Bambi back. But is he thinking with his “hizniee” or his “dizniee”? I think we all know the answer to that. He even goes as far as getting advice from KIRK. Yes, people. You read correctly. Kirk. Apparently, Kirk has all the answers since he has fixed things with Rasheeda. Once he mends his relationship with Rasheeda’s mother, then I feel like he has room to give somebody advice. Until then, he has some things to work on. And breaking Rasheeda’s mother’s glasses was not a good start. Scrappy felt that the best way to get Bambi to give him another chance was buying her a puppy. I don’t know about y’all but that puppy made my heart melt! But enough to forgive Scrappy for all his messing around. Bambi didn’t seem to think so either. She still had doubts about his mom interfering, his side chicks, and what exactly he wanted from her.
Be sure to tune into next week’s episode! It looks like one you definitely won’t want to miss.
