Last week the internet ran crazy with rumors that Love & Hip Hop had taken its franchise to New Orleans. It was rumored several months ago that they approached New Orleans rapper Curren$y and he declined (we posted the #commentcreepin). Mona Scott-Young has since taken to social media shut down the rumors that New Orleans is an option at this time.Â
However, TMZ reports that Love and Hip Hop is considering taking the show to either Houston or Miami. It has been confirmed that producers have already started auditioning cast members in both cities. Sources say they are hoping to have a cast nailed down by April for a premiere this summer. Of course producers are looking to continue the formula that has worked for them over the last 5 years; drama-filled ratchetness. Â Do you think Houston or Miami can live up to New York, Atlanta and Hollywood?
A source tells TMZ that they’ve already locked in a few big names in both cities, and are still looking for some smaller known talents to even it out. Would you consider auditioning for Love & Hip Hop in your city?
