If you’ve tuned into ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ while Teairra Mari was a cast member, then you know that her road to sobriety hasn’t been easy.
According to recent reports from TMZ, Teairra Mari entered a guilty plea on Monday, taking accountability for her actions, which included one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Although she pleaded guilty, the reality won’t be serving any time behind bars.
The Queens District Attorney’s Office said that the former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ star has to complete several DWI-related courses, including a victim impact panel and an impaired driver program.
Teairra is also required to install an ignition interlock device in her car, which will remain for the next year. Lastly, her license has been suspended for six months. If she fails to abide by the terms of her sentence, she could face up to a year in jail.
As you may recall, the singer and reality star was pulled over by the NYPD back in June, after a cop noticed that her car was missing a front wheel as she drove out of the Midtown Tunnel with sparks shooting from the car.
We wish her the best of luck!
