Love & Hip Hop’s Moniece Slaughter Lashes Out At Critics Over Her Parenting (Or Lack Thereof)

Love and Hip Hop Hollywood’s Moniece Slaughter (Lil Fizz’s baby mama) has been taking a lot of criticism regarding her parenting. You may recall she was issued a restraining order from Lil Fizz, lost custody of her son to Fizz and was homeless. You may also recall her admitting to the fact she’s very violent. Apparently she’s had enough of people’s judgement and has taken to Instagram to clear things up.

In a recent post Moniece writes, “Let me make something clear to you pieces of shit…YOU DON’T KNOW ME NOW! YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE OLD ME…BELIEVE ME! Do not ever talk to me about sacrifice. #FunFact before the show I had a 9-5 and I WALKED to work and back home… don’t talk to me about lack of effort. #funfact during the custody battle I took the bus no matter the weather. I made no excuses. Don’t ever question my love for my child. #FunFact I was so emotionally destroyed I did indeed take antidepressants.” She went on to say, “When I lost custody of my son it wasn’t because his dad proved me unfit…SOMEONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY LIED. I was HOMELESS I had NO JOB I had NO MONEY I had NO CAR I worked my ass off for another deal I rode the bus to every visit regardless of 120 degree weather Rain and cold whether I was sick or in Perfect health I didn’t miss a court date I fought my ass off for mine! I went without food I wasn’t in the club or laid up under some nigga! I worked a 9-5 and I walked to and from work so don’t EVER come on this page to question my love or sacrifice for my son! EVER”

Now here’s the thing, when Moniece signed up for a reality show like Love & Hip Hop, she knew exactly what she was getting into. She admitted herself that she did not have custody of her child and that she was homeless and at the time her sacrifice was her sex toy start up company. Let’s not start on the fact that she admitted that she was crazy and violent and also admitted to going extended periods of time without talking to her son. Those types of character assessments don’t work in your favor with viewers. Now, I don’t know her personal life, but I don’t consider the things she’s listing as sacrifices. I consider those circumstances. What is sacrificial about walking to work if you don’t have a car? That’s what you’re supposed to do to make money and feed your child. You find a way. If you want your child, you get on a bus and go to court. That’s not a sacrifice. The only thing you are sacrificing is the small amount of pride you have left.

She said on the show that she doesn’t want to work a 9-5 and that’s why she’s starting her sex toy business, maybe the real sacrifice would be working a 9-5 (or two) until she could get a home for her child to sleep in. Granted her son and Lil Fizz are basically living in Fizz’s mom’s house (in case you guys didn’t catch that) the child still has a roof over his head and his belly is full. The fact that her own family member would “lie” on her absolutely speaks volumes.Let’s not forget Instagram posts like this don’t do her much service either.

No judgement zone, but definitely a much needed life assessment from one sacrificing mother to another. Moniece is an obviously beautiful girl who seems smart enough to know these Love & Hip Hop checks are not only temporary, but come at a cost. Hopefully now that she’s seen how she’s painted on TV, she’s focused more on getting her son back and providing for him. You can’t blame the viewers for thinking one way when you’ve pretty much said all of these things out of your own mouth.
