Tory Lanez just can’t catch a break.
Christopher Harty, aka Love and Hip Hop’s Prince, exclusively spoke with theJasmineBRAND and gave unheard insight on what really went down between him and Tory Lanez.
The Love & Hip Hop reality star filed a $1 million lawsuit against the r&b singer that stemmed from a 2019 physical altercation that went down between the two and security. A viral video captured the incident, which showed Tory and his team allegedly attacking Prince outside a Miami night club.
According to Prince, there was a misunderstanding about a record which he thought was resolved. On the day of the incident, he said his boss approached him in the club and said Tory wanted to speak to him, so he made his way over to him.
That’s when things went bad. He said Tory swung on him, and then his security joined in. As a result of the fight, Prince lost a tooth and expenses he claimed Tory offered to cover when he apologized the next day for how things went down.
Despite the public embarrassment and disrespect by Tory and his crew, Prince chose not to call the police or press charges.
But according to Prince, the two hashed it out the next day when Tory apologized and told Prince to send him some tracks so he could try to connect him with some people that could possibly help his career. Prince also said it was during their meet up that he offered a one on one with Tory, but he declined.
During the interview, Prince mentioned their size difference, “I know I’m just this little pretty n**** but Nah I can fight…,” he said. “I’m 6 f****** 3. Tory’s 5’6.”
“N***** can say what they want to say, but I will bust his ass.” He said, adding that he challenged Tory to a charity boxing match, which he also turned down.
When it was mentioned that the timing of his lawsuit against Tory seemed to be at a bad time given Tory’s legal issues from the incident with Megan Thee Stallion, Prince said his team has been trying to work it out with Tory’s but couldn’t meet on an agreement.
Tory, on the other hand, has remained silent since his summer incident, but Thursday afternoon tweeted a cryptic message: “To my fans…I’m sorry for my silence…but respectfully….I got time today…9 PM PST.”
However, he then released a project denying involvement in the incident involving Meg, which in turn, sparked widespread backlash.
