From reality TV to real-life parenting, Lauren and Cameron Hamilton are now officially mom and dad. The couple who stole hearts on Netflix’s first season of “Love Is Blind” have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Ezra.
Baby Ezra was born on October 1st at 8:18 p.m., weighing 5 pounds and 15 ounces. After a four-year fertility journey, the couple is overjoyed to finally hold their son in their arms.
“He’s been such a blessing already,” Lauren said to People. “Having [him] has made the long journey worth it.”
Cameron added, “It still feels surreal that we have a son after four years of trying to conceive. That said, the 4 a.m. feedings and diaper changes have definitely made it feel more real. I’m grateful for it all.”
The name Ezra had a spiritual connection for the new parents. “The name ‘Ezra’ just came to us one day,” Cameron shared. Then, after Lauren’s father passed, they found a Bible belonging to his mother that opened to the Book of Ezra, with a picture of her dad tucked inside. That moment sealed the deal.
Holding Ezra for the first time was powerful for both. “It was such a sense of relief,” Cameron said. Lauren called it “magical” and admitted, “I didn’t want him to move again.”
Though adjusting to sleepless nights and baby routines has been tough, the couple is embracing every moment. They’re looking forward to all of Ezra’s milestones, from first smiles to first steps, cherishing each one as a gift.
