Back in May, Ariana Grande and Mac Miller announced their split, after two years of dating. One month later, the singer became engaged to “SNL” star, Pete Davidson. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Despite the quick turnaround, Grande’s ex is happy for her in her engagement to Davidson. But, he does think the “whole thing is a little strange.”
On Monday during an interview with Apple Beats 1, Miller opened up about his relationship with Grande, his thoughts on her new engagement and moving on.

“It’s strange. Like, the whole thing is a little strange but it’s not negative,” Miller said. “It’s just a part of something that’s going to continue to help make me who I am.”

“I am happy for her and moving forward with her life just as I’m sure she is with me,” he added, as he discussed his “stressful” relationship with Grande.

“Life is stressful,” Miller continued. “So, of course there were stressful times. It’s not that unique. I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years,” and although they “worked through good times, bad times, stress, and everything else…. It came to an end and we both moved on.”

Despite Miller’s positive vibes towards his ex, the Blast reports that Grande hasn’t necessarily returned the favor. In fact, back in May, she declared their relationship toxic and condemned him after his run-in with the law.
