Ebony magazine is paying tribute to Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and Kanye West in their collectors’ edition, four-cover Black Music Month special issue. On each cover, the superstars will get their own special cover and title to describe their music. Queen Bey is crowned ‘The Diva’, while Hov is referred to as ‘The Mogul’. Meanwhile, Rihanna is ‘The Rebel’ and Kanye is ‘The Poet’. I believe all their titles definitely describes them and in an appropriate way.
Urban music writer, Kevin Powell stated:
“It was an honor to write the four cover stories for EBONY magazine’s Black Music Month special collector’s edition. Rarely do you see today’s unstoppable stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay Z packaged with legends like Tina Turner, Donna Summer or Tupac Shakur, but we did it because when it comes to Black music, it is important to note the deep connection between the musicians of yesterday and today.” See all four covers after the jump.”
