Actor Roger E. Mosley passes away at 83.
Early Sunday morning Mosley’s daughter, Ch-A, announced her father’s passing while sharing a tribute to him. Mosley died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from injuries obtained by a car accident days prior.
On Saturday, Ch-A shared that Mosley was in a “major car accident” that left him “paralyzed from the shoulders down.” She added, “Every effort is being made to care for him during this time.”
“We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all. I love you, daddy,” she wrote. “You loved me too. My heart is heavy, but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well, and she is in good hands. Rest easy.”
Mosley is best known for his role as Theodore ‘TC’ Calvin in the 80’s hit series “Magnum P.I.” His character managed a helicopter business and often lent a helping hand to the main character. The late actor worked on the show for eight seasons and approximately 158 episodes.
Mosley also starred in ‘Love Boat,’ “Night Gallery,” “Sanford and Son,” “Kung Fu” “Kojak,” “McCloud,” “The Rockford Files,” “The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams,” “Starsky and Hutch,” and more.
