In the beginning of the season I remembered asking myself how Malaysia managed to keep her private life off the Basketball Wives LA radar. The show managed to touch on everyone else’s drama, but for some reason, Malaysia’s rumored marital troubles from over two years ago never got their own storyline. Well, it looks like they won’t be able to turn a blind eye now, Malaysia Laquisha Pargo and Charlotte Hornets player Jannero Pargo are calling it quits.
The original rumors from 2 years ago were that after becoming a reality TV star, Malaysia began partying a lot and dressing sexier, something Jannero hadn’t approved of. It put a huge strain on their relationship. The two separated in December 2012, and it was odd to me how Basketball Wives producers never caught on to this. Â Now there are rumors that Jannero was cheating. Something Malaysia admitted on the show, but again, they never went in to.
The two were married in 2006. Earlier this year they fired subliminal shots at each other on social media, something Malaysia apologized for during the BBWLA reunion show, citing that she was going through a lot due to her brother’s death. In the divorce Malaysia is seeking physical and legal custody of the couple’s 3 kids (7-year-old & 3-year-old twins). She also seeks child support.
There’s a reason I keep bring up that Malaysia’s tea managed to not make it on the BBW cameras.  The show has already touched on all of Draya’s drama, Jackie Christie’s kids hating her, Sundy Carter, Laura Govan never getting a ring, and literally everyone’s drama but Malaysia’s. Didn’t Gloria Govan get fired for getting married and not informing producers? I find it odd that the tea of Malaysia being separated had been around for two years and for some reason it wasn’t brought up even once. In fact, Malaysia hasn’t had a storyline in years. Something very odd when it comes to reality television.
