In the entertainment industry, Malia Obama has just landed her first major job as a writer for a new Amazon series helmed by Donald Glover.
According to the New York Post, Glover has just signed an eight-figure production deal with the streaming service, which will have the Emmy and Grammy award-winner producing several different, as-yet undeveloped television projects, one of which is a potential new series entitled “Hive.”
While details about the plot of the show are being kept under tight wraps, what is known is that the show will feature a “Beyoncé-like” character.
Glover has enlisted writer Janine Nabers (“Watchmen”) to help lead the team of writers for the show, which includes Malia Obama.
The 22-year-old former first daughter is a member of the 2021 graduating class of Harvard University and has already worked as an intern on shows like HBO’s “Girls.”
