Malibu Mansion That Suge Knight Built Goes On The Market For $30 Million

Last week, the luxurious Malibu mansion built by Death Row Records boss Suge Knight was placed back on the market with a hefty price tag of $30 million.  Realtor Dylan Eckart is overseeing the sale.

The 8,272 sq ft seven-bedroom mansion rests on seven acres of land within an exclusive gated community. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the home features 10 bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a home theater, and a state of the art recording studio that has been utilized by some of music’s biggest names such as Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. The estate, which earned the nickname Villa Pacifico, also features its own helipad.

Knight built the home in 2001 but was forced to sell it in 2008 for $4.56 million after filing for bankruptcy. The property was then purchased by a German investor, who has been renting it out for $35,000-a-week since 2009.

The 55-year-old former Death Row Records CEO is serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter after being convicted of running over and killing his friend Terry Carter in 2015. He is currently housed at the R.J Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California.
