Jimmy Winfrey, known to many as PeeWee Roscoe, was the man accused of firing shots at Lil Wayne’s tour bus in Atlanta earlier this year. According to Winfrey, who happened to work as Young Thug’s tour manager, he was at the orders of Birdman.
The shooting incident happened in April. Thankfully no one was hurt. In May, police secured an arrest warrant for Winfrey, charging him with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near the street. In June Winfrey was indicted by a grand jury on 30 counts. Winfrey pleaded guilty to 5 charges and today, was sentenced to 20 years — including 10 to serve in prison.
Birdman and Young Thug have yet to comment on Winfrey’s sentencing.
