Man Who Allegedly Shot and Killed Angela Simmons’ Ex, Sutton Tennyson, Turns Himself in, Charged With Murder

Just days after news surfaced of the murder of Sutton Tennyson, the father of #AngelaSimmons’ child, the man who allegedly pulled the trigger has turned himself in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to TMZ, legal representation for Michael Williams says he turned himself in on Wednesday and has been charged with murder, but he says Williams denies that he shot and killed Tennyson in his home over the weekend.

Officials say Tennyson was found in his garage with multiple gunshot wounds after a conversation with a man in his driveway turned violent. Shots were fired, and the suspect reportedly fled in a car.

Upon learning the news, Simmons took to Instagram to mourn the loss of her son’s father, saying, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”

In the meantime, Williams has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, in addition to murder.
