A New Hampshire man was arrested Sunday after reportedly putting his infant daughter in a clothes dryer and turning it on.
Michael Higgins, 34, is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal threatening, and reckless conduct.
Manchester police were initially called to the home for a domestic incident. Responding officers determined that an argument had taken place between a man and a woman, but it had not turned physical.
During the course of the investigation, the woman revealed to police that Higgins had placed their daughter into the dryer and turned it on the week before. The woman quickly took the baby girl out of the machine. The baby did not suffer any injuries, according to police.
